Tables saved in previous Versions of AppleWorks or ClarisWorks
A new feature in AppleWorks 6 is the ability to Create tables. When you save an AppleWorks 6 document that contains a table in AppleWorks 5, ClarisWorks 4, or ClarisWorks for Kids format, the table is converted to a non-editable object.
Button Bar buttons
You must re-create Button Bar buttons created with earlier versions of AppleWorks or ClarisWorks. (For instructions, use the Search feature or the index of AppleWorks Help.)
Dictionary, hyphenation, or thesaurus files from previous versions of AppleWorks or ClarisWorks
AppleWorks 6 does not recognize dictionary, hyphenation, or thesaurus files (including user dictionary files) from previous versions of AppleWorks or ClarisWorks. For user dictionaries, however, you can avoid having to reenter terms manually. To do so, use your old version of AppleWorks or ClarisWorks to export the terms from an old user dictionary into a text file, then use AppleWorks 6 to import the terms from that text file into a new user dictionary. For instructions, see the topic "Working with dictionaries" in AppleWorks Help.
Headers in spreadsheets created in AppleWorks or ClarisWorks versions earlier than 6.0
If a spreadsheet document created in a version of ClarisWorks or AppleWorks earlier than 6.0 includes a header, the header may be truncated when the document is printed. If this happens, change the header's font to a Mac OS X font such as Helvetica or Times, or to a non-bitmapped font such as Arial.
